E3 On Xbox Live

Microsoft is making E3 available on Xbox Live from the 14th July.

Starting from July 14, Xbox 360 owners will be able to view video news from the event on their consoles, including highlights and content from Microsoft's E3 keynote.

Additionally, there will be a daily wrap-up of all the news in a daily wrap-up, gameplay footage, screenshots and trailers from what's unveiled. Developers will also be interviewed for the service.

Microsoft has also confirmed a demo for the Xbox 360 exclusive title Too Human will be available at some point during the week.

Do you have to have the gold to watch it? I only have silver at the moment.

You should only need to have silver... But then again, I may be wrong, but you really shouldn't...

No it will be available to silver subscribers too, only the online gaming part and some demos (time limit wise) are restricted to gold subscribers.

Thanks Dark. Looks like I'll be checking tomorrow to find out. Can't wait for tomorrow. California is ahead of me by a couple of hours. Have to remember that.

Sounds good to me! I can download all the good bits of E3 for free from the Xbox Live Marketplace. I feel relieved that I didn't purchase a ticket to attend E3 now. ^_^
