Easiest corrupt/pure (Simple guide)

I've been seeing people ask how to get get your corrupt/pure up quickly and this is the easiest way. All you have to do is buy a bunch of stores (not that much, I only have 6-7 stands) and set your prices to either low or high depending on what you want. After you do that use the gold exploit (I didn't think of it, credits to who did though)

If you don't know the gold exploit this is how you do it -

1. Unplug your ethernet cord if you have one in
2. Save your game and go to the Xbox dashboard
3. Change the year to 2025 and log in to your character

When you log in it will give you an ass ton of gold and since you changed the prices, your purity/corruption will go up as well. This is also repeatable, just save your game, change the date back to 08 and repeat.

OMG! thats awesome, do you get like millions of gold? i only had 3 stands and i stopped playing for 2 hrs and i gt 13000 gold

You can get a million gold, depends how many stores you own though.

sounds useful. but will you get a consequence for doing that, or was it just for the pub games?

Not sure what you mean by consequences but nothing negative happens. Only thing that happens is you get more gold and full purity/corruption.

or u can just set ur prices high or low. and sum houses u can buy give u purity points. the way i found to get legit money fast is by trading. all u gotta do is buy weapon stores and blacksmiths. then u buy starting with the most expensive and then to the cheapest, buy all the weapons u can. if u still got money left travel to another store. when ur dun go to fairfax gardens and sell them all to any trader that is jacking up their prices and not giving u a discount. i bought the castle and everything else by doing this. in an hour u could make like 3 million gold. tho i would recommend when u get extra cash just start buying everything u see.

I've kept my game off for a while (obviously) and I haven't gotten paid anything...

What if you got the patch? Does the patch affect this?

Yes. The patch does affect the gold and experience exploits. Apparently they knew about those too, and fixed them with the co-op patch.

With that said. If you have the patch all you have to do is clear your xbox's cache. By clearing your cache you remove all the updates to your games. It doesn't affect saved game data or DLC (at least it has not with mine when I did it when I was having problems connecting to games in CoD4 after the system update).

So when you boot back up just don't d/l the patch. Do the trick get all the money, and then save your game, go to the dashboard, reboot game, and d/l the patch to play online with all your money.

I get 2k every five minutes; so when I do that I usually get like..
400k.
I bought all the stands, most of the Inns and a like ten shops.

Once you get to a certain point Gold doesn't matter for pretty much anything. My character has around 20 million Gold but I'm never going to need it for anything.

I own every house/shop/property in the game. I think I might try it, see how much I have afterwards.

you should oinly put it 2 years ahead, that is the prime number, for every amount of time that your off, you get money less and less
if your on, but away you get it like every 20 mins
if your pure, and online you get it every 3 mins, if your normal you get it every 5 mins, and if your evil you get it every 8 mins

but wen your off you get less and less.....
