Economy Manipulation?

Has anyone else tried to deliberately affect the economies of the regions?

What I'm hoping to do is get the Gypsy Camp/Bower Lake's economy booming in hopes that upon my return from the Spire they'll have grown.

Unfortunately, they're somewhat low (though growing) and Bowerstone Market is booming, possibly because I keep working jobs and selling the stuff I buy at the Gypsy Camp there.

Basically what I did was buy everything in the camp, set rents low, and keep buying everything the General Store and Mason had for sale, to resale elsewhere. I got all my tattoos there too, but there's only so many of those you can buy.

Re: Economy Manipulation?

maybe u should try and expand into a bigger economy like bowerstone, gypsy camp economy sucks ass u barely get any money from rent there, bowerstone is the big economy factor, make sure u did good choices as a kid though or else bowerstone old town economy is terrible

Re: Economy Manipulation?

Thanks for the advice. I mean, sure, the whole point to what I'm trying to do is crank up the Camp's economy, but I really appreciate the suggestion that I go buy Bowerstone. Or whatever you just suggested.

Er... I was probably a bit caustic there, sorry.

Re: Economy Manipulation?

I have no idea, that would be cool if you could get the economy up there, and have it turn into a thriving place.

and dvpepsiman, he isn't looking to get uber rich, he wants to have the area to have a better economy.

Re: Economy Manipulation?

In case anyone was wondering, it didn't work.

That could just be because I didn't get it up high enough... but I doubt it. More likely, all the changes are just the scripted "choice" changes.
