Errr... Help with Ducklings?

Okay, so me and my dad were driving back from work, and we seen some ducklings. We looked and looked and looked for the mother, but there was no mother to be found, and it was really rainy and cold out, so we took them in. I think we are deciding to keep them. But thing is, I'm not too sure on how to take care of the little buggers and I need advice! I'm Googling away, but any extra help is appreciated.

Seriously, take them to a vet, they'll know what's best for the ducklings. How to look after them or whether it would be better if they went somewhere else to be looked after. Plus the vet could check their general health and well-being.

Until then get a cardboard box and fill it with hay or sawdust. You'll want to make sure you keep them nice and warm.
Food wise, I think you can get special duck food from pet shops. Water in a bowl should be fine.
Also, having a pond would be good or some form of water source, but you'll need to check if the water is suitable for the ducklings.
And keep a good eye on them.

But, seriously, you should only take a vets advice. Go to the vet. :)

I decided to just drop them off at a vet that takes in wild animals, I don't have much time to care for the little fellas anyways, as cute as they were. I'm just glad I found them. Poor things were frozen and soaking in a gutter. But thanks for the advice queen. :D

Our cat used to bring in ducklings all the time - no idea why. He wouldn't kill them, just deliver them. Freak.

Anywho, we had a wildlife centre called St. Tiggywinkles a few miles away which would take in any form of wildlife to save going to a vet (some of them liked to charge)...the weirdest thing we ever took there was a baby squirrel. Those things look like shaved rats with no tails and make the most gosh-awful screeching noise...

think you did the right thing dropping them off. you see with great power comes great responsibility and...well...

once we took in a tortois we found trying to cross the street (had seen one that failed in doing so a day earlier) so we took him in. we put him back out because he bit off a chunk of my thumb while i was trying to feed him cheerios. you see, animals are generally ungrateful little twits so its best to just run over as many as you can. and leave them soaking wet in gutters.
