So recently, I've been trying to get my computer to connect to my 360, but When I open Windows Media, go to Media Sharing. The 360 isn't even listed.

So I went into my hardware, and it says my Ethernet Controller doesn't have a driver. And I was wondering if maybe that was the problem.

I've tried Driver Doctors, and searching google for the driver, but none of them work. Anyone got any advice? I'd really like to use my Media Center again..

Problem began when I reformatted.

You tried the program i used called TVersity instead of Media Player 11?

I tried Zune. I could try TVersity. but I'm sill pretty sure it's not the program.

None of them could detect the 360 then? Windows should find drivers automatically i thought when things were connected, especially after reformatting.

Only windows vista finds drivers automaticlly, I haven't seen xp do it. If you have access to the internet you should be fine with the drivers, If you know what type of motherboard you have you can get drivers for it.

Mine detected it, but I have never been able to actually get it to play the music inside, aside from the default music.

Can you go into the device manager and get it to search for drivers from there?

It says Can't install. I've tried that. :'(

Yeah, a driver doctor. :lol: Which I used, and it told me, but it won't install. :'(

If it is Vista, you could do that stupid run as admin thing. But I have no idea what a driver doctor is, so I don't know. Maybe run in compatibility mode? Probably nothing to do with these, but thats all I got.

Does it name the driver you need?

Can you give me the following info

• Brand
• Model
• Serial Number
• Operating System

I'll see if I can find the driver.

I think my computer thinks I have two, cause I keep coming up with the right driver, but it says it's already installed
