Excited (I'm new here)

Hey guys. I'm new.

And, before anything, I'd like to admit that I've only played some of Fable 1. I'm afraid to get excited for Fable 2 because I feel that I'd be a poser, but my best friend has played Fable countless times, so I feel safe to say ... That I am very excited for Fable 2. But hey, shouldn't people welcome new comers?

(I have a feeling someone might tell me to play Fable 1 before anything, but I don't own it, and I've already pre-ordered fable 2. My friend convinced me to! I got it from Amazon a month ago, and now I'm wondering if it'll arrive tomorrow (monday) or on tuesday.)

Maybe it's because I'm a fan of Free-roaming games, or I've played a lot of Elder Scrolls.

First, hi and welcome!
Second, you've got the wrong impression of how you'll be treated, my friend. I've countlessly said here that I've never played fable 1 at all, never once been told to play it. I'm not a poser nor am I viewed as one. So no worries! You won't be labeled like that. Besides as you'll soon see 99.9% of people here are super friendly :)

Damn, I flinched when I saw the "Wrong Impression" then I was like.. OOOOOhhhhh,

Yeah, I was really afraid to even have a fable 2 background as my computer.


I've looked at a lot of the posts on here, and finally decided to join! (Only saw one flame out of all of them)

Im Joking my Friend, Its okay.. you dont even have to of played fable to join the Forums or be excited for Fable II .. Just enojy the Forums and Talk about anything you like.

well hiya bennybikerboy, pm the creator of the fable series even said skip playing fable1 and just go to fable 2. so i would fallow that advise lol xD but if u happen to have some money lying around u should buy the cheap $20 fable 1 version because it was fairly good in my opion.

Fable 1 was a good game, it just didn't live up to the expectations that were set out for it, I doubt it was even possible on the xbox to do what they wanted. Now they have the 360 to develop on, and from everything that I have seen Fable 2 will be everything that was missing from Fable 1 and so so so much more. Welcome to the forums and feel free to add my Gamertag to your friends list if you would like for some co-op gameplay (just add in a msg that you are from projectego).

Oh, and for your information, I play with the actions that I would make in real life, but I usually end up very much on the good side.

Welcome to the forum, I've barely played one either but that doesn't stop me from being excited about this epic game about to be released eh? ^_o

i played fable 1 and although it was really good i dont think its needed. in fact peter molyneux himself said to not play at as its like a broken vase thats been glued together - he said fable 2 is going to be the best game he has ever made.
