Yes, I do believe there was. I found a website about it once, but I can't seem to find it again.

I found it

After the demo, Peter stepped down into the mass of press to answer questions and whatnot, and everyone else returned with renewed vigor to the XBox consoles. I still hung back and snapped a few more pics, then decided to jet off to the Sammy Studios party. It would have been cool to talk to Peter, but he was constantly surrounded by other press, and I hate standing in line. Still, I did happen to run into him at the Fairmont lobby bar Friday night and speak to him for all of five minutes. He is a busy guy after all. I'm happy for the time I got.

I can imagine a demo. In a demo you wouldn't necessarily have to start with childhood. Many demo's I've downloaded on XBox 360 Live Marketplace have either had the regular game, but a time limit, so whatever you play in that time, that's what you get, or a certain number of levels in arcade style games, or in the case of most of the RPG's I've tried, a mission. For instance, if I was making a demo of the first Fable, I might make it be one of the Orchard Farm quests since I've seen both sunlight and rain there, the area's large enough to do a little exploring (dig up the bright shirt from the grave behind the house, get a treasure clue, etc.), and those quests are early in the game so they're not completely un-doable for someone who didn't go through the entire guild training, as long as some of the skills and a weapon are available. You also would have the option of interacting with NPC's who are on your side, and against you, and that you're defending. Anyways, I really don't see a demo as out of the question. Besides, it would thrill those of us who are getting anxious for a release date. There's my take on it, anyway.

"At the end of the presentation, Molyneux dropped a new piece of information about the first showing of the game in action. Early next year, Lionhead intends to show off one of Fable 2's new features by letting someone outside the development studio try it out for the first time. Molyneux didn't comment on what the new feature would be, other than that it is both new and important."

the game will be shown for the first time at the GDC 2007 between the 5th and the 9th of march, where molyneux will be doing an hour talk on fable 2 and will then take someone from the crowd to try out the new secret revelutionary thing.( the big secret)

Yeah i was reading about Molyneux being at GDC 2007 and that he would reveal a lot more about Fable 2 and a big secret but don't bank on him revealing everything as hes a master of secrecy :ninja:

No TLC is just Fable with more quests, weapons etc.

Fable 2 is on the way :cool:
