To be honest, I'd rather they focused on making Fable 2 as much like "Project Ego" was supposed to be before they started adding stuff like dogs.

I don't really want a dog... especially not an evolving dog. If its there, I hope its something optional that you can choose to buy.

Now, if the dog could talk... and grow really massive... and actually be a cat... called Battlecat... that you could ride... THEN I might be interested.

Now thats a damn weird way of thinking about it, no dog but a battlecat?

Re: Fable 2 Dog Companion

Heh, whatever floats your boat I guess. I suppose the choice between a cat or dog for a companion would be pretty cool. Perhaps we'll be able to choose from a long list of possible pets. Maybe even a cow, tiger or ape like from Black and White.

Oh quit your complaining, people will want what they want so if they want a monkey let them have a monkey. I myself would prefer a bird of a sort, a giant hawk maybe. You could send the bird to attack from afar or even back you up by grfabbing the enemy with it's mighty talons. It would be better if you could have the bird act as a scout, seeing if any enemies block your path.

It should be like an eagle, so you can switch to the pet to fly around and scout.
