I think they meant to do something with that house in the basement, (legendary weapon, cellar with stuff in it, quest location, etc.

Oh yeah, here's another weird glitch: Henchmen can fall through the world if they tap back to many times, dunno if it's exactly a glitch or lionheads weird way of punishing people that use it for exploiting.
EDIT: I got up, it's just a big empty house and you can't go downstairs because of some props blocking.. I don't think you're ment to go in there

Usually, you know how your dog stays outside when you go inside
a building?
Well my dog is messed up, he just follows me inside and barks around at nothing. The little "QUEST" thing is above his head whenver I walk inside of a house, and he just follows me around and barks.
