I't s not released for computer yet, and I don't know of the others but i don't think we know when it will be released, but I think it should be fall or winter when it comes out.
It isnt on pc and as it stands I dont think there are any plans to put it on pc. in other words it will never be on pc but if it is it wont be any time soon.
I think it would take quite a while, 'cause they would have to map all the functions, create new textures for different PC's (Graphics Settings), they would need to add bloom, HD Lighting, Anti-Aliasing, etc. It will be probably around a year or two to be able to create a PC port.
Actually, I have no idea. Just listen up on the Lionhead Forums, and they'll probably say.
In the developer diary where they spoke about the different tools they used, someone briefly mentioned the terrain tool they used and said something along the lines of "This time the programmers made the tools a lot more easier to handle, so almost anyone could start brushing out trees."
As said, might be a long shot. But still. Easier tools sounds like they are going to release some kind of modding-application like the one Oblivion got. It would add a lot of replayability to the game and make a PC release way more popular. And from what I've seen in the developers diaries the tools they use to build Albion looks very much like the Oblivion editor.
Also, they script quests and small events in lua. In the last diary, where they show some code in an editor you can see that the tabs on the top (representing different scripts) all end in .lua
No. That would be against Microsoft's terms, wouldn't it?
And it would completely screw up an already screwed up Multiplayer. Imagine if someone made a God-Weapon, and joined another player's game.
They probably just going to port it to PC in a year or two.
thats wackkkkk, they should make a forge like option, and so what if u made a god weapon and went into someones game, u cant **** up their economy or anything just killin bad guys easier.
example: me and my girlfriend were playin multiplayer yesterday, we turned off the safety and she murdered madddd ppl in bowerstone market but i didnt cuz i didnt wanna screw up my good character...outcome? no effect on the economy or how ppl look at me at all bc she got all the bad points, the guards didnt even come after us
Yeah. Just like with OblivionReborn (A mod that allows online play for Oblivion) if you play with someone who has a mod, it would just show up as an Exclamation Mark because your Data file doesn't have the meshes and textures.
If they were to allow Modding, it would either disable online Co-Op or they could have like a giant Online Database for the mods... Then when you played with someone with a mod in the Database, it would load automatically in to your game.
