Halo is a poor game. It has next to zero new oncepts and is a unreal tornament/doom clone. I hate Halo with passion since the first one, it lacked any depth and is extraordinarly repetitive. No spawn protection, it is a very slow game,horrably unbalanced, repetitive I can shoot all i want but where is the strategy, physics Engine (where is it), ****ty character development and mutiplayer modes are unorginal (P.S I love Team Fortress as it is unique).
Now if you said/implied Half Life 2 was good I would slap you and say is it godly.

Just throw the game on legendary, there are your tactics.

Concepts, I will agree there, then again, if every game had new concepts, what would be the point of sequels with nothing similar to the original (just look at fable two).

As for repetitive, throw the game on easy. make up your mind "I want tactics, but the game is too repetitive."
You can want all you want... but the fact that you want tactics, IN A GAME TOO REPETITIVE, brings out an issue. Tactics make games harder as you have to use your head. As for repetitive, that can mean whatever you want. "It's too hard," no it is not, it is easy. "I just hate killing these aliens," suck it up, America did not want to nuke japan, we had too (they would've kept bombing us, enough is enough).
Whats repetitive about it? You can't just walk onto a forum, say a game is repetitive, and walk away.

You should always use FACTS and not OPINIONS. Sure you can have opinions about the facts, but be sure to back that opinion up... What is next... oh yeah, unbalanced. Unbalanced is really a complete opinion, in this case, my opinion is no way that halo 3 is unbalanced, then again, that is opinion. What is next... oh, unreal tournament. How can you say a game is a clone, when your two "clones" are completely unalike. unreal tournament is a fast-paced battle with aliens, doom is a fps-paced battle with demons.
halo is a fps-paced battle with aliens, and "alien's" (humans) creations (the flood, the sentinels, and the monitor). really, how you can say a game is a clone of two different games is beyond me....

guys i've thought about halo one time for about 10mins long and i thought about a new halo game where you can hold every weapon,grenade,etc by turning your right stick around. and it's an RPG where you can't make any choices. and remember this is only a THOUGHT!

dude, this is the trippyist idea iv had all day, what if Fable 3 and Halo 4 where the same game? the discription on the halo sword and armor in fable 2 got me thinking.

according to fable 2 "Hal" came from another dimention from a rip in space, during the time of the Old Kingdom. so, imagin what a friggin epic game that would make.

at the end of Halo 3 the cheif is stuck adrift in space, so the game starts off with Cortana waking you up showing you the rip in space time.

so the two games combine, finishing off the halo saga with Albion in the time of the Old Kingdom AS THE RECLAIMER PLANET! so the cheif doesnt go to another dimention, he goes back in time to the reclaimers (Old Kingdom) efectivley being the start of the halo rings being built and all that. and its also a Fable game. master cheif comes to the Old Kingdom, full of the most powerful magics the world has ever seen, magics and futuristic technology combine and ages later the halo rings are developed about the same time the spire is built and the Old Kingdom collapses. all knowledge of the rings is lost and Albion is left to start over. it fits together so beautifly!

these two games combining so unexpectedly would form the most ****ing epic story ever and be the biggest thing in gaming since the begining of time.

think about it, is anyone following me? does this make sence to anyone else? or am i the only one who thinks this would be AMAZING.

i guess technicly this belongs in albion fan fiction, but i didnt really wright a story, so....... discuss.

Anyone who says Halo is a "bad" game needs to first of all actually play it for five minutes and actually look around rather than just whining about how it's repetitive and then they need to look at the fact that until GTA4 came out Halo 3 had the highest box office sales on any media platform and that it has a massive fan base and amount of merchandise (e.g. comics, books, a real life Warthog, real life weapons from it (don't actually fire anything) and countless more things including a possible movie)

So true. There wewdn't be an xbox if there wasn't Halo. It's repetitive because it's a killing game so b4 you start a level you shewd know your prolly gunna shewt at something num nuts.

Fable 2 had no repetition in it at all. But at the cost of a gewd storyline. It is seriously a movie's storyline 5/5 to watch but 1/5 for fun to press buttons on your controller lmao. (If you had the chance b4 reaver)

its a combo of moutain dew, blue mushrooms, toad, and some killer ****! i have a copy of "the beatles yellow submarine" on my dest and im now all out of oreos, chips, and just about everything in the fridge.

but i think a story where the cheif comes into the old kingdom (lets go with the alternate dimention, not time travel) and has something to do with the old kingdom technology being developed would work. wether you like it or not its still an interesting consept. as far as halo goes, its a fun game so thats all i care about. i dont care about the story or if its a clone of some other game, all i know is when i wanna shoot aliens it does the trick. one could make a successful game with no story at all, cuz shooting stuff is fun! like it or not its true, shooting the **** out of things is fun.

Having thought about it, I'm sad to say it wouldn't work. As the Master Chief wears armour, it would be difficult to see the effects of the moral decisions you make making them pointless in the first place.

Well come on how unique can you make a shewting game? YOU SHEWT!!! But atleast Halo 3 has an indepth story that goes even deeper,much deeper, then in the campaign will let on if yu just try lewking. Just like Fable actually I thought fighting Jack was the biggest epic thing there was and I found out the story goes so much deeper then him.

The Master Chief wears MJOLNIR VI I believe. From my understanding, it is not that hard to take off... Besides, no one said that wearing armor effects your moral standing. I think though, they are two completely different things, that will NOT merge.

One of the main themes in Halo is that you never see the Master Chief's face. The designers did it so that it feels more like you're the one in the suit.

you will get flamed for that. but not by me. halo is an ok game. although i dont think its deserving of the high reputation it has. its a shooter, nothing more. the story is ok, but if seen much much better. shooting things is fun, and multiyplayer is fun to, untill it gets old. i dont really care that much for halo, although i do ocasionaly play it. its an ok game series. i think the problem is that halo got into the "cool kids play this" list. much like harry potter *vomits* or the new twilight series became popular cuz "they" said so.
