You also seem to to miss the point that it was a typo, even thought you quoted me and revealed the white text.

All I can see is an unecessary and unpleasant personal remark. And, yes, I'm sure you'll continue to do as you please - the anonymity of the internet brings that out in people, I find - something about being faceless causes perfectly normal folks to act like complete ****tards. It's why I don't game online, as the irritation often outweighs the fun.

Maybe I'm just old, but I treat people the same way on sites like this as I do in RL.

And as for all this "hoe", "ho" "facepalm" "zing" nonsense, can we just drop it? From a purely academic viewpoint, the word "hoe" is not even slightly insulting as it is a garden implement, as has already been pointed out. I'm certain no malice has been intended and the OP has not reported this so I'll chalk this down to experience all round and may you all be provided with dictionaries for Christmas.

Hoe, Hoe, Hoe...

It was extremely obvious he meant, 'How'. A quick check of the keyboard and you'll see that 'e' is situated right next to 'w', and from that we can make an educated guess and give him the benefit of the doubt that he meant 'How'. You reported him for nothing. Congratulations.

Hoe is a shortening of the word 'whore' in US slang, is it not? In context, I thought Tyrant suddenly discussing gardening implements was unlikely! My apols to TL if I've misunderstood his post - when she gave him the How/hoe option in the post above, I assumed he'd picked the nasty option and was being mean.:unsure:

And, bracing myself for mockery from more 'hip' posters...what is 'sceney'?
