An astounding app-based game where you capture real territory for your team and earn 'gold' you can spend in Fable III!

The battleground is your town, and your only is your smartphone to plant virtual flags for the Royals or the Rebels. Claim 'Treasure' in locations throughout the UK which can be transferred into Fable III on your 360! There, you shall be able to buy all manner of droolsome items, from crystal swords to manor houses. Haha +rep for this. It'll be interesting to see where they've hidden the treasure, I wouldn't be surprised if there's alot in Guilford ;)

EDIT: For anyone that wants to see the source, GAME sent out a letter to some people (I'm guessing who have preordered Fable 3) which can be seen here.

RE-EDIT: So there is a crystal sword that you can get through this, I wonder if it's a version of the Chaneller? I hope so, because the other way of getting that would be to go to ebay and pay 10 pounds for the code.

I think it'll be available to anyone, keeping in mind you have a smartphone. Also, the newsletter said it was only available to UK residents, although the website does have several other European flags listed, although that could just be purely a language translation.

Are you saying I'm going to have to droplick everyperson that has a smartphone because I believe their a royallist and are putting flags in my space? I need to work out a bit more then

Well, seems to be a delay. The new releases:

For Android and Symbian OS phones: 4th October.

iPhone: 6th October

Windows 7 phones: At launch (speculated at around 21st this month or something).

And I'm sorry for all the Americans that can't play this, it makes up for getting Fable 3 3 days before us :P

@ Crazy Mike: Yeah, the app is free.

@ VicOnTop: Because it's a game similar to foursquare or something, that requires you to actually plant flags through the phone. USA doesn't have the support to do this.

Omg.. no one has put a flag in my city yet!! But I need to wait for the Iphone App to come out eh <_<
