Fable explorer wont start

Ok i run the fable explorer and it brings up the page, but all blank and the with that stupid box with the heros and the word "fabletlcmpd" in the middle. an ideas why it wont load so i can mod? :(

Re: Fable explorer wont start

That box? With the hero in it, is supposed to come up, that means it's loading, or trying to load.
Fable Explorer requires a number of things to be properly setup on the user’s computer:
  1. DirectX 9.0c installed
  2. .NET Framework 2.0 installed
  3. Graphics Card supporting 16bit W-Depth Buffering
If you have problems running Fable Explorer make sure your computer meets these requirements before asking for help.

Re: Fable explorer wont start

Help! Fable Explorer won't start.
There's error on startup -
"Object reference not set to an instance of an object
From: at FableExplorer.frmMain.Main()"

.NET and DX is installed
******
P.S. I solved this problem by adding a new key to the registry, containing install path. Now FE works.

Re: Fable explorer wont start

how did you add the key to the registry?

Re: Fable explorer wont start

well apparently thats not whats causing my problem

Re: Fable explorer wont start

okay first restart your computer and start up fable as usual but make sure it's the first thing you do make sure to close all windows after the hero box pops up wait at least one minute then if that box doesn't go away you probably opened another fable explorer window accidentaly and it didn't show up in your tool bar press enter a few times until the window goes away then close that one and see if you can find another window of fable explorer open if so than yay it probably worked. :D

Re: Fable explorer wont start

Also you cannot open FE while having Fable opened or something to edit fable on
