My theory is better:

Theresa sold her soul to Satan, in order to obtain the Camel of Eternal Youth, which she rode ot Mecca and back. This took her 500 years, because Mecca wasn't big yet.

Heroes aren't immortal just because they're heroes, the heroes that are immortal found some way to cheat death.

yes but the archon was immortal and if the hero of oakvale was a direct decendant than he and his sister would both be immortal

Blood thins with time, the Hero of Oakvale wasn't immortal, his body aged on the outside but but he maintained his strenght.

For some reason the Hero of Bowerstone seems weaker and younger to me, that could be explained by the 500 year gap between them.

It probably has nothing to do with Archon. If Theresa has kids they won't be immortal until she shows them how, I'd wager.

I'm pretty sure, I've seen one hinting something on this topic, if your someone to read the bottoms.

For sure, I know that that particle old lady is the hero's sister from the first game, but nothing else.
