I'm not complaining. I know we pay less.:)

Haha I know your not, but some people on forums really complain about the American price.
I think it costs more because Australia has to buy it's games from japan or maybe America since Australia doesn't actually make the games. But what I find so frustrating is the fact that some company's will region lock a game that they have absolutely no intention of bringing to PAL territories :realmad:. What the hell? Doesn't that just lose them money?

Maybe they don't like you?
(I joke)
Game companies do the weirdest things sometimes and the sad part is the developers don't seem to do anything, maybe cause they've already got their money.:O I remember years ago when I worked at EB we recived a letter claiming to be from Lara Croft telling us that she was dead and that the next game would be her last adventures leading up to her untimely demise, Eidos carried this on for months with warning letters arriving at the same time telling us that we couldn't tell customers about this, how much did it cost to send these to every games shop in the world, and what for ?

Eidos decided that they wanted to be know for more than Lara Croft so they were going to kill her off after last revelation, but then saw how much money they made and decided not to!:O

I think it just costs the publishers more to put it out in other countries that may not sell as well as they do in America. Thats my guess.
:)

guys..look around. EVERYTHING is cheaper in america, not just games. it's just how american economy works, stuff is cheaper there because of bigger consumer needs than in britain. and britain has GAY taxes on pretty much everything. i mean at one point, you had to pay VAT on fuel, fuel tax, VAT on the fuel tax and then also some extra 5 % tax on EVERYTHING for 'government funds'. damn this country.
