Fable III Gets Exclusive Free DLC in New Copies

Following what is quickly becoming an industry standard, Microsoft will be including a code in launch copies of Fable III that gives early adopters a crack at some exclusive launch day DLC, including new outfits, a new skin for your dog, and some intriguing potions.

According to the press release posted on Gamasutra, the one-time use code will net you the following perks:
• Call forth undead minions to your aid with the Raise Dead Potion
• Extend battle time for more attacks with the Slow Time Potion
• For the fashionably conscious, try on and keep the Scot Male Hero Outfit or the Scot Female Hero Outfit
• Looking to get inked? The Highlander Tattoo Set will be perfect for your hero or heroine
• With the Red Setter Dog Skin, you can transform your faithful furry companion into a whole new breed

 
So, who gets this content?
 
I'm getting it on the date, but by post. Do you know if I am still included in this?
 
And I may assume they mean launch both the 26th and 29th, moreso than either 26th -or- 29th?

from what i read it didnt say anything about you having to get the game on launch date to get the content its with every new fable 3 game thats why they say this will have ppl buy it new rather then used and you dont usually get used games that fast so yeah
 
Scot uniform and highlander tatto could be awesome though
 
I should be able to get it, I've got LCE pre-ordered for in-store pick up on Tuesday.
 
If I am correct you will get the "Free DLC" if you pre-ordered it new perhaps, however buying it new makes sense as well.

I wish I was getting the LCE version, I had money on it unitl I remembered I had to buy Reach and pulled my money off of Fable 3(BIG MISTAKE). I am going to the midnight release to get Fable 3 regardless though.

in every new copy of fable 3 you get the stuff...also think about it say i pre ordered a game and my friend didnt we go get the game at the same time why wouldnt he get the say stuff its not like they took half of the fable 3 games and put the stuff in there

For some reason I was thinking it would be one of those things where the code is on the receipt rather than in the box.
 
The code will be on the receipt they don't use cards anymore for dlc content
 
oh maybe your store hasnt switched yet mine was on the receipt

Everything I have gotten as of late has been located on the bottom of my Receipt, so maybe it depends on where you are located.
 
I thought it would be like in Dragon Age: you buy the game new and it has an insert in the case with a code on. So what if I bought the game 6 months after it came out? I got my codes!

thats what i read and i hope its true thats way better then getting it on a stupid receipt
