Re: "Fable III Isn't an RPG." - Molyneux
back on topic:
personally, i'm indifferent to whether they use a health bar or not. it's nice to know exactly how close you are to dying, and it's also nice that a properly funded character can stock up ridiculously on health items and win.
on the other hand, i like having fewer meters and dials and huds to look at when i'm playing. sometimes they are kind of distracting... for lack of a better analogy:
when driving, you would probably be a much better driver if instead of having to read every sign, watch your mileage, monitor where you are in relation to other cars, etc... there were simple and easy to notice indicators (i.e. vision going red when you speed) to let you know. you would no doubt, become a better driver as your full attention could be directed at the road.
i forgot where i was going with this, so i'm gonna finish my coffee and go to work now...
sorry, i couldn't help but notice that changing one letter of a certain word makes that look like a candy bar advertisement :lol:Tsuyu;362961 said:Hey don't you go talking bad about the heath bar! It's a friggin classic, man! I'd take a good heath bar with potions(or whatever) over the "hide behind a crate and miraculously regenerate lost limbs/close bullet wounds/come back from the brink of death"-system that has come to replace it.
