Sounds to me that you said the game won't have wings.

Dude, whether you walk around with wings or not you've already been proven wrong as they come out during flourishes! Take a look at any combat video, that's not an emote that's a flourish.

Why are you trying to fight about wings? My internets hurt your feelings? :lol: I didn't even say I wanted wings just that I saw a video with them in it.

How does that prove me wrong? A momentary flash of your wings during a flourish does not mean that we'll be allowed to walk around with them.

Uh, no. Really? Because you seem pretty adamant in defending the whole wing thing which pretty much implies that this is what you want.

Did you say they only come out during extreme emotes?

So then the statement about wings in the FAQ isn't wrong just the timing (which wasnt even brought up...) and which actually can also come out during a flourish and I've shown video footage of a hero walking hand in hand with a citizen.

It sounds like purposeful misunderstanding because you are routinely putting words in my mouth.

There's no need to be hostile just show some respect (you know not insulting people by calling them blind or illiterate) especially when I'm not trying to be confrontational just pointing out that 'i've seen images of people walking around with wings'.

Yes and yes. Does that mean I said the wings don't come out ever? No. How can the timing be wrong? I mean... wow... that statement actually hurts my head. Neither of those mean anything or they could in fact be a part of the Extreme Emote system. You're jumping to conclusions and trying to defend said conclusions while I'm trying to keep myself grounded and not get my hopes up like you seem to.

I haven't put anything in your mouth. You just need to be more careful with how you word things.

I'm not hostile but I'm in no way obligated to show you even an ounce of respect. My goal here isn't to please you or anyone else, it's to discuss this game. Simple as that.

When I said timing I meant : the when and why's of wings popping out from your hero.

In proper English, if the conversation is 'what' and you say 'that is false'. Then the subject is being called false. If you then go on to say there is a certain set of criterion for the subject to be right you are now having a completely separate conversation.

It's like me saying 'this game will have redcoats' and you respond 'that is false! This game will have redcoats for guards but only in certain cities'. The first statement made no claims about the why or when the game would have redcoats just that it would have redcoats.

You know for someone who's just trying to have a discussion about this game you sure have a hang up about how things are worded.

And yes, you are putting words in my mouth when you make assumptions about my meaning which is ironic considering you require precise wording to make points. Examples of such assumptions :

1. You assume that I'm defending wings being out all the time. I am not because I don't care. The information provided is for you to do what you want with.

2. Assuming I even WANT wings. I never said that.

3. Assuming that I am both blind and illiterate. I am not as that would make this conversation difficult.

4. Assuming that I want your respect. I'm not talking about you respecting anyone, I'm talking about having the respect to carry on a conversation with anyone that doesn't involve insulting people. There's actually rules against being deliberately insulting.

I guess. I just didn't find it necessary to continue discussion on something neither of us knows much about. Also, I could see precisely where this was going and I'm not fond of petty squabbles.
