The ring is a weapon.

that'd be an awesome weapon. would it be classed as brass knuckle or a super gaunlet?

i think it lets you become a blavarine while you ware it and when you take it off you become human again because for the pc there have been a lot of mods to become one so may be PM thought it would be a good idea to let players become one but not have to stay as one for ever or do some long winded quest to stop being one :wacko:

wicked to be a balvarine. but would it be one color or by affected by alingment?

It's a weapon that will

enhance your magical abilities. Nothing special.

This makes me think of Elder scrolls 3 morrowind: bloodmoon

The ring of Hircine i think it was called... let you turn into a werewolf anytime you wanted although using the ring didn't make you nearly as powerful as a regular werewolf

I doubt it will do anything like transformation. I'm sure that it is just a weapon that enhances your magical abilities. If it was supposed to do something that cool, you would need to go on a difficult quest to get it. A man running games in a pub would not be in posession of something that powerful.

I think it will be related to some balancing issue. I believe hgd was onto something with the diminished strength. You might have this awesome magical power that gives you new spells or stronger spells to start out with or enhances the ones you have... we know that manna is not an issue in F2 so it doesn't have to deal with that. But, in exchange for this awesome power you may not be able to level up other attributes (strength, skill, etc.).
