no, just the people who are going to have a problem should not take it seriously. if you like it you can take it as seriously as you want.

trader bottom rank........... pays tax 25$ each day
oakvale villager pays tax 20$ and can be at religous events
merchant pays tax 19$ and can be at religous events
guild novis free tax but works at church and can be at religous events
guild master free tax but works at church and sets up religous events
avo god of fable top rank free tax and is the god all who belive in fableism

No The Knights of The Old Kingdom is a free religion no religious taxes we shall make our money through donations.

Psst-- there IS a Fable religion. Avo and Skorm. False gods, yes, but gods nevetheless.

Sure, Avo is a bit of a *****, but Skorm's a deity you can really get behind. I mean, human sacrifice? Free stuff for slaughtering a few dozen villagers? What's not to like?

And, incidentally, God is an asshole. I still believe in him, though. And I still believe in Jesus being the Christ. And Jesus is not an asshole. Though god is. The jury is still out on the holy spirit.

you have all been told to stop talking about actual religion. this is surely gonna get the thread closed. i think there should be a rule against discussing religion at all. it always starts a huge debate. :(

Yeah, but usually it's pretty civil. So long as I don't get involved, because for some reason the fact that I hate yet believe in god is offensive. Wonder why that might be. Hey, you know, maybe it's the "asshole" thing.

Also, I would like to point out that worshipping Fable itself would be a much better religion. Or, possibly, reverencing it as a saint? I think I could make it a saint, after all, there aren't that many other people in my god-hating religion.

actually, as far as im concered, the cult does worship fable itself. it worships fable and takes moral lessons out of it. i bet one could form a resonable set of rules just from fable, and people would imbrace them.

What are your principles? Personally, I think "Thy Children and Youth Shall Rot On Their Buttocks Before the Luminescent Glow of LCD, CRT, and Plasma, The Great Prophets of Fable; And They Shall Worship Through the Medium of the Most Holy XBox, or Computer of Their Choice; Using Keyboard or Controller." would be a good one.
