Well Fable 2 was set 500 years after Fable 1, so most likely were in the 1000s?
Add another 500 year, were in the 1500s (Fable 3), ad another 500 years were in the 2000s (Fable 4) then another 500, 2500s.

But we would have the magic, swords, guns, and whatnot through Fable 5 no matter what.

Personally I think if we were stuck in the same period for 5 games straight, it kind of would get repetitive, but that's just me, maybe. At least one more Fable during that time period would be cool.

Imagine like Assassins Creed 2, you know how in Assassins Creed 1 how it was set in the future but go back to the time of Judiasm and whatnot, maybe Assassins Creed 2 being in the future part were you team up with those Assassins who are trying to save you to bring down the Creed.

Make Fable 4 and 5 in that kind of sense, where nothing at all changes; you can use Will, Stength, and Skill just be placed in a different time period, but have the feeling of Fable 1, Fable TLC, and Fable 2.

Fable 3 set a little after Fable 2 and you need to bring down Theresa from the Spire.

Those are my ideas.

fable 4 modern nah keeping in mind fable 1 + 2 were set thousands of year ago not hundereds which would make so there wouldnt really be any histroy records of the first 3 and if there was it would seem silly

and fable5 in the future that i guess u would mean acient magic and future ristic weps im sure theres a game out there very much like that just dont think the time sense would make sense all togeather

Lionhead reasoned that they didn't originally have armor in Fable 2 because it's based somewhere between the 16th and 17th century, and Fable 1 is like 500 or 600 years before that.

Personally, I think they should make a prequel to the first game with you playing as the first Archon.

But just look at tha GTA games. All of them are set around tha same time, give or take 20 - 30 years. i personally don't think it would matter whether it was the same time period.

Well I don't know about you, but I expect more from a Fable game. Imagine if every Fable sequel was just like TLC; the same game as the first with a few extras. I wouldn't like that.

100 Years into the future would be plenty of time for Albion to change but not revolutionize.

I want the villagers not to get all scared when I defend them from Bandits and Hobbes when they follow me.

im guessin the next game set in albion will be a prequel, or a spin off. I have no clue what the spin off could be. But i imagine it would feel similar to knothole glade, and other parts have alot of ancient greek or roman architecture, since some of the ruins in fable seemed to look like columns etc. But if there was Fale 3, i would think it would have alot more renaisance feel to it. I imagine the spin off would be playing a character that has appeared in other fables, possible jack of blades, either turning good, or set in the past, the story being the old tales of albion, on the site, although the prequel could work with that too.

I agree with whoever said something about the co-op camera it's really annoying!
There should defiantly be more clothes, it would be cool to see more or different spells even though there are loads.
I love having the dog in the game but it would be cool to have the option of horse back as well.
The main story should defiantly last much much longer!
But fable 2 is awsome!

in my opinuion they elft you with an open story ending and it would take too long to make another fable game. I think they will make a lost chapters for fable 2 and extend the ending. Like you will find the orest where rose is ( maybe knothole glade island??) sand shes with scythe or whoever it is. And maybe you will find out theresa is evil with the spire. And maybe you can finall get some damn amrour in the game!!!! that ****es me off!!!

You will in the Knothole DLC, hopefully it's the same one that is pictured at the bottom of that page with all the information of Knothole Island DLC on the Lionhead website.

i think it should take place before fable 1 when the archon was still around because i have always wondered what it was like back then

A prequel seems nice too.
Alright:

~Fable 3 - a prequel to Fable 1
~Fable 4 - set between the times of TLC and Fable where you get to see Luciens and Theresa's uprise.
~Fable 5 - set after Fable 2 + all DLC where you kill Theresa and destroy the Spire once and for all.

well when fable 5 comes out my theory is most dlc will come out on it. I thnk there is likely to be 1 or 2 more DLC for Fable 2. One following where Thunder went with that temple of fighting

RoG is on the right track

-Fable 6; Hal comes back, plants bomb, kills everything. Then this GIANT word comes up and you can no longer play any Fable games. That word is. FIN.
