Fable3 saving crashes at "Brightwall Library decision"

I'm facing a saving issue if I answer to the Brightwall Library decision as King. The decision is accepted and I see the film of what I have decided but when it gets to the automatical saving it runs forever with a black screen and the chicken in down right corner. Any ideas?

Best guess would be a corrupt save.

Try saving your game manually before making the decission in a different (empty) slot and delete your auto save file.
Run your game from that new save and see if it works.
If not, then you're pretty much screwed...

Thanks for the nice proposal, but already did it this way and it still fails.. no idea what I can finaly do else than start again..
