Re: Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
warning: this post may/may not have spoilers for the movie as i havent seen it yet but here are my ideas on the matter. if you dont wanna see(possibly) spoilers, then dont look at the stuff in the spoiler tags. duh.
those are just my ideas, so those of you have seen the movie may think i am way off track. anyways, those are my ideas. oh, and if, by the off chance that i am actually right on track, then this film is just as predictable as the alst one.

people who have read the comics or at least played Marvel: ultimate allinace would know silver surfer used to be/is Galactus' herald/scout thingy. if you know galactus, you know that he is called the "devourer of planets". and in one of the trailers for the movie, you hear Fantastic four saying" how do you stop something that eats planets?". also, in it, there is what looks like(to me) lasers shooting at the Earth. a lot of them. coincidence? i think not.
so i think it is possible that silver surfer might team up with fantastic four to help defeat Galactus. i cant say for sure as i havent seen the actual comics, or the cartoons, but i think that is how silver surfer becomes a hero. the only problem with this theory, is that the movie is called" rise of the silver surfer", and not "devouring of earth by kilometer-tall-giant-man-thing"
