Farmer Giles (of ham)

In fable 2 there is a man named farmer Giles and in the game hes a gaurd with a legendary bluderbuss that he used to strike fear in law-brakers and what not. But what you might not know (or you might know) that J. R. R. Tolkien (known for LOTR) wrote a novella called 'Farmer Giles of Ham' where he fended off his farm from a dragon with a blunderbuss: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farmer_Giles_of_Ham

It's not really a "kids" book, it contains alot of elements of adult literature as well, but overall it truly is good for all ages. Personally I feel it's one of J.R.R.'s best novella's. While LOTR is clearly his masterpiece, Farmer Giles of Ham has a very light hearted witty attitude which I love.
