fav magic system

ok so idk if this has been done yet or not but i just finally beat fable tlc so i wanted to ask, what is your favorite magic system? the one from fable 1/tlc with the quick buttons or fable 2 with the charging system?

i personally loved the ,agic system from the first game, they hit it dead on i think plus they have wayy cooler magics and magic types, i feel like in fable 2 they kinda just threw it together but ill bet they did that on purpose so itt will take longer to cast more powerful spells...plus the beserk spell? howcome that didnt come back it was sooooo awesome and the physical sheild one, idk i just think fable 1 had wayyy better magic attacks.

oh and guileee, u can pick locks and sneak around at night, i wanna do that in fable 2!!

I dont mind having to charge up for more power, but the rest of the new spell system blows. the need to put the quick spell swaping back in, not the stupid charge lineup. also the variety really sucks. for a sequel I expected more spells, not less. true there are 8 spells with 2 different affects so its 16 affects altogether but fable 1 still had way more variety.

The only thing I miss is that magic shield spell that depleted your mana rather than health when you got hit.

Without armor and such, as a pure will user I find myself far to squishy an dying far too much for my liking.

Fable 1
I didn't mind buying Will potions, and since I hardly ever had to heal those were the only type I bought.
The charging system I guess is useful in a way? Though I find it more of a hindrance in a large battle only getting to level 3 before I have to unleash it, instead of being able to dish out the strongest thing I have almost instantly.
