Yes of course I did. :shifty:

Not in the manga eh? Then perhaps there is hope, I shall speed up the downloading... or nagging on friend to put on DvD... whatever crosses my path first.

 Zaraki Kenpachi That's what his name stands for. It means like..power..or doom.. something like that. one of my favorite characters. The 11th squad is full of powerful doom people. Like Ikkaku. :shifty:

Kenpachi is the God amoung men. I swear if that guy even had a Shikai, he would be like ten times more powerful than anyone else.

I reckon Kenpachi will eventually end up fighting Aizen who is supposedly the strongest. Well during the fight he should be losing and that's when he gets Shikai.

And his name "Zaraki" is named after district 13, the "worst" district with the most outlaws and such. He named himself Kenpachi after he found Yachiru. It means roughly "Person who has killed the most" or something.

Re: Favorite manga

The Poll isn't really necessary, since the choices are way too small in it..but aside from that. Mine would have to be Dragonball & Dragonball Z (1984), The story is great, alot of good humour and comedy, and presents easily the best fighting scenes in any anime and manga..not to mention the entire manga stretches 9,000 pages (not including Dragonball GT). I honestly can't see myself ranking another anime or manga above Dragonball anytime soon, but there are others i could rank right underneath it...Such as the classic Gatchaman / G-Force from the 70's, Ghost In The Shell with it's unique intelligence on the future and life, not to mention some excellent artwork and characters. Gundam Wing, Samurai Champloo, and Cowboy Bebop. Azumanga Daioh and Cromartie High easily being the funniest Anime & Mangas out there. And then there's Case Closed & Lupin The 3rd, Lupin if anything is the only anime i would put right next to Dragonball (but that's just my taste).

I haven't seen enough Bleach to judge it fully yet, but it's pretty good so far, nothing epic. Gravitation is a pretty good anime, regardless of the homosexuality involved, no sense in letting a good anime go to waste due to a certain way of lifestyle, plus it's a pretty damn funny anime and all with the traditional modern anime deformity that occasionally pops-up.

As for Naruto, I see it everywhere i look on the internet, and it's often compared to DBZ. i've seen a couple of clips from the show, and it doesn't really interest me. It reminds me of Full Metal Alchemist, which doesn't interest me either..But I guess i could blame that on the dubbing results..since the dubs are just as horrible as Inuyasha's.

Haha - how could I forget Azumanga. Hilarious - I love it. I love Osaka, I've got all her strange comments written down somewhere. Like; "It's OK, we don't have any cat corpses anywhere". Or when she spends an entire shopping trip confused about "escalators" and "elevators"... ah, I love her.

And I have got to agree with you, I never really got what the big deal with Naruto is either.

Mr. Kimura is by far the strangest, but funniest..Like in the Pool Scene, where he's sitting next to Nyamo, and he goes:

Mr. Kimura: Several of the water pipes that run through my house have been leaking quite a bit lately.
Nyamo
: Oh?
Mr. Kimura
: The rubber backing has probably grown very brittle and dried out. It tends to do that when it gets old you know.
Nyamo: Sure, I Guess so.

[long pause]

Mr. Kimura
: Have you grown brittle and dry...?
Nyamo
: THAT'S IT, YOU'RE OUT OF HERE!

and the one in the classroom with Tomo:

Tomo: Kimura-sensei, why did you become a teacher?
Kimura: BECAUSE I LIKE HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS THATS WHY!

But Yukari is my favorite character out of them all.

Re: Favorite manga

Oh I forgot about the new one- GunXSword. That is truly epic.

Haha, or when he stands in the hallway looking pathetic with a new (obivously a woman's)hat, and when approached bursts into singing "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!".... or something similar... Long time since I read/watched Azumanga....

Re: Favorite manga

Hehe, see that you do. I might aswell... with my soon-to-come birthday of 18 years on this dustball, it might just clear my head of the dark thoughts of responsibility, getting a job and all that which plagues me and bring on the childish peace of mind. :ninja:

Gravitation is one of the best gay anime's ever. Has a great manga as well. Japan has good messages in their TV shows. I love Gravitation

Thank you for prooving my point, and nice quote.

Re: Favorite manga

not to mention a majority of the anime Yuki Talks about his hate for shuichi, and talks about how annoying he is. Even if it is a little gay, the story has a BIG darkside to it.

I haven't read it all yet. :'( My friend bought me like 9 10 and 12 or something weird like that from the bookstore down town. (When Shuichi Goes to america, by being kidnapped by that woman) I found the rest of it, but I've been so distracted with video games. I should read it.

Re: Favorite manga
