Favorite Quotes of All Time?

So I was thinking, we all seem to use a single quote regularly for some reason. What's your favorite?

"Seacrest OUT!"

&

"Pop Off!" <-- Maybe someone might know what I'm talking about.

Re: Favorite Quotes of All Time?

"Sod off" - Gotta love it baby. The English have such cool words (And nice gals)
And overall I like saying things in a random Irish brood.

Re: Favorite Quotes of All Time?

"Does this smell like chloroform to you?"

I saw it on someone's profile, it's legendary.

Re: Favorite Quotes of All Time?

Frodo: "I wish the ring had never come to me, I wish none of this would have happened"

Gandalf: "So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to do is decide what to do with the time that is given to us."

Lord of the Rings

"Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense." - Buddha

Wise words. Wise words I live by, which is why I don't buy into a lot of nonsense regarding religion and other topics.

Yes it isn't "be close-minded", he is saying "don't believe in bull**** if it doesn't sound right". And coming from founder of one of the major religions, that's saying a lot about both Buddhism and him himself.

I love the B-man.

Re: Favorite Quotes of All Time?

"It is not hands that call us, it is Desire."
That is from what, a long time ago, was a favorite movie of mine. Kind of a 'be careful what you wish for' proverb from hell.

Re: Favorite Quotes of All Time?

"God made Adam, sat back and then said 'I can do better than this.' "

That always makes me laugh. Haha.. Women..

Re: Favorite Quotes of All Time?

"It's Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve!"

WARNING TO ALL PEOPLE WHO CANNOT TAKE A JOKE:
THAT WAS A JOKE.

Re: Favorite Quotes of All Time?

I did it for my English Lit coursework. I remember lots of quotes and stuff, such as yours

Re: Favorite Quotes of All Time?

Yeah... A few weeks ago I saw my best buds doing "Much ado about nothing" And since I am joining their co-op (Homeschool version of drama/home-ec/financial prepardness/extracarricular) next semester I have to be prepared so I read a playscript, then I suffered through the HORRIBLE 21st century version of Romeo & Juliet.

Re: Favorite Quotes of All Time?

We did much a-do about nothing for our year 9 exams. Boring as hell

Re: Favorite Quotes of All Time?

XD Yeah... Funny part is: My one friend lost his lines, so he tried to inprov shakespeare style, it was hilarious to watch him fiddle around with the "quaf"s and the "thy"s

Re: Favorite Quotes of All Time?

All of these are from the mighty Lord Ruber.

"Are you listening?Griffon: Sorry master, My mouth was full.Ruber: Of all the mythological beasts in the land...I had to get one with table manners."

"*after intro song* Charming sing along. Now let's get down to business...What about my new land?"

"Knight of the round table: I will not serve a false king! Ruber: Then serve...A DEAD ONE!*pulls out a mace and attacks King arthur*"

How about this one? "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind." - Ghandi
