FE Starting problem

Whenever I start up FE, I get a small pop-up window (That appears behind the age lines... Took me four hours to figure out it was there =_=) that says:

Unhandled exception has occurred in a

component in your application. If you

click Continue, the application will

ignore this error and attempt to

continue.

Objects reference not set to an intance of

an object.

I dunno, but included, Details:

See the end of this message for details

on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of

this dialog box.

Thanks for the suggestion... I've rebooted like five times and I've played my BF2 demo to kill some time. It doesn't work lol.

Re: FE Starting problem

Don't know if this has anything to do with..anything.
but don't forget about this:

Fable Explorer requires a number of things to be properly setup on the user’s computer:
  1. DirectX 9.0c installed
  2. .NET Framework 2.0 installed
  3. Graphics Card supporting 16bit W-Depth Buffering
If you have problems running Fable Explorer make sure your computer meets these requirements before asking for help.

Yea, if it still doesn't work, try using the install packs by Satan, which installs the correct .net framework and makes sure that your comp fits the requirements.

Re: FE Starting problem

I know, I have all that installed... I forgot to mention that it was working up until a few days ago. This has only happened recently, and I need to get back in to change my character's aging rate again =D.

Did you clean up your register recently?

Re: FE Starting problem

Ok, I figured it out. Earlier, since all of the game's files were directly in C:\ (Not C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Fable for some weird reason) I moved them into their proper folder. I'm guessing that FE didn't know where to look... Since I've moved them back to C:\ direct, it seems to be working fine
