Ok, I figured it out. Earlier, since all of the game's files were directly in C:\ (Not C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Fable for some weird reason) I moved them into their proper folder. I'm guessing that FE didn't know where to look... Since I've moved them back to C:\ direct, it seems to be working fine

Yep, that's the reason. Fable Explorer checks the register to see where all the files are, if you move them around, that can go wrong...
