Lol I was just kidding Angel. Of course I understand what this is about. I can relate with my character, and I get really attached to him/her that by the time I have finished playing the game, I don't want to stop. In moments where he/she is sad, I would feel sorry for them. If something great happened to them, then I would feel happy for them as well.

In a wierd sort of way, I'd probably have feelings closer to "love" to my own female character than to the wife of my male character... =]

I was very confused by that point, so hadn't realised the queen was dead until I asked some really dumb questions and Steve had to explain events to me. Didn't help I kept leaving the room whilst the relative scenes were playing :lol:

I think I would feel more love if a partner/spouse died as that is something I am more familiar with...

Perhaps you would, having found true love and all. However, in the game, the "NOOOO!" you'd be hearing from me would be waaaay more powerful if my female hero died than if my male hero's wife died.

I didn't really think they were needed, as it happens in the opening movie >.< Also she is on the back of the disk cover, as well as any adverts for the game so...

Nah, not coz of that - it's more to do with past experiences. But I guess whatever hits your own experience of life closely will have more of an impact on how you may/may not react to certain events within the game. Like when certain rumours started circulating about what would be in Fable 2, I was like - "They put that in and I'm not playing the game or even so much as looking at the cover" - but mercifully those aspects were proved to be false and I could breathe easy again.
