Final Boss in the game Ruler of Aurora? Dragon? Theresa?

Does anyone know that this is the final boss? I hope not. I can't really see the story ending with a king killing a monster in another land being the end. Maybe stoping a revolt or some major choice but I sure hope its not a boss battle.
I like boss battles and everything but im just not seeing how this would fall in line with the story.
 
The icon for the achievement looks like something that I saw in a screen shot once. Not sure what it was, but then again the creature was only an artwork on one of the character cards that you get with the Limited Edition. It was in one of the Diary Videos, have no idea when I saw it or which one it was. I remember finding it significant since it was on an employees computer screen and the files name for the artwork was "Jack of Clubs_Minion". I forgot about it thinking that maybe the character cards you get might have been set out like a deck of cards and that the Jack of Clubs might have been the suit this particular character card was representing.

Anyway, I might be wrong and probably have missed something about it. I would be greatly appreciative if someone could shed some light on this for me. I've been wondering about this creature for a while now.
 
Ya, it was in a video, i think its in this thread somewhere. But there are minions but they aren't Jacks Minions. They have the same body shape and everything but not the same color.
 
I'm guessing either Theresa (because she seems evil and she was raised by bandits) or it could be whoever is terrorizing aurora (maybe Theresa) either way I would be willing to bet Theresa stabs you in the back later on :P

PM has already said the game ends feeling like there should be a sequel.
In other words, it ends on a cliffhanger.
I don't care what it is, as long as it's a challenge, which it probably will be. There's an achievement for not getting knocked out in the whole game, so it must be somewhat difficult.
 
Ya, i hope it is actually. I hated how easy II was
 
i didn't mind dieing or getting knocked out so much. I cared more about the story. Do you know how frustrating it would be if this game had such an amazing storyline but the game for incredibly hard? No doubt some people would get stuck and get fed up with not being able to know the rest of the story!
 
I can't tell if that creature looks intelligent (sort of like the Gravemind off Halo 2) or if its just some blundering idiotic creature controlled or let loose by a higher power. Its eyes to me look sad in the screenshot image, however not in the achievement image or the playing card image.
Anyone else have thoughts about this?

If you could show me a screenshot I would make a better remark, but as it stands I think its just a creature from aurora that is epic powerful
 
I don't know why but it reminds me of that creature in Pan's Labyrinth(SP?) that ate children.
Especially the picture of it on the card.
