Final Fantasy Type RPG Game?

Ever since I first played FF7, every other new RPG game (like Final Fantasy, not like Fable or Fallout) I find pretty bad or boring. I always end up saying "Final Fantasy VII owns this." Could anyone recommend a game which is better or matches to?

Lost odyssey, my last played game. It is so awesome but I cant play it cause my disk 2 is broken cause my brother bought it second hand like a dope

I've got it ^_^. Got to the part with the giant Eagle on the mountain and haven't played it since. Not sure why. I want to get into it, but I can't be bothered to do 4 discs :lol:

The disks are short, just do it! It's awesome. I use the ign walkthrough because I'm a cheat but the game is pretty amazing. Get back into it, you'll thank me for bothering you with it

like Urahara said you should check out lost oddessey. another decent jrpg is last remnant.

I had an urge to buy Oblivion but I played it over my friends house and wasn't that interesting.. Thought I can see it being a game when you play it for an hour or two, it starts getting awesome.

Lost odyssey is obviously the best suggestion but there is also a handful of other JRPG's on the 360 that might appeal to you. Tales of Vesperia, Eternal Sonata, Last Remnant & Infinate Undiscovery.

I had an urge to buy Oblivion but I played it over my friends house and wasn't that interesting.. Thought I can see it being a game when you play it for an hour or two, it starts getting awesome.

Personally, I'm not a huge RPG fan but I did play Oblivion for quite a while. It does take an hour or so to get into the game and start to fully appreciate it. I loved going through the Thieves guild and the Dark Brotherhood.
