I have to admit, Pokemon does seem to have a hypnotic effect. You can avoid then, but if you even catch a glimpse, you can't seem to turn away. Damn those japanese animators and their wicked crafts. The show is as lame as an after-school special, yet can still entertain... at least the game is good.

Also... I hate DBZ, seriously over-played, and not even in a decent way. I like Dragonball, though only becuase its so stupid and ignorant it makes it mildly funny.

I'm not really sure about that, I've seen Pokemon before back when it first started, and it's still one of the worst animes out there compared to the vintage classics (Dragonball, Gatchaman, Slayers, Saint Seya, Lupin The 3rd, Sailormoon, Ghost In The Shell, etc) , and the modern classics (Samurai Champloo, Ergo Proxy, Paranoia Agent, FLCL, Bleach, etc.). It's quite easy to be completely repelled from animes like Pokemon, Full Metal Alchemist, Digimon and such, especially when they're packing terrible english dubs, and are only focused towards the younger audience of viewers. Dragonball Z, GT, and Dragonball have questionable dubbing...but then again, look at the competition of dubbing teams for the show. Personally, i enjoy both the dub and the japanese language of it...of course, DBGT is awful in every way you look at it.

I can only see myself watching Pokemon if there is absolutely nothing else on, or to do...which is what brought me to watching it in the first place back then. :noexpression:

Pokemon was ok at first, but not anymore, in my opinion. Sometimes same old storylines and it's not interesting. Digimon to me is a rip-off of Pokemon.

Digimon felt like an anime which they had toys based upon atleast, not toys that they made an anime about like with Pokemon.

lol...DBZ....i agree...wasnt bad or anything....just wasnt....enjoyable s u said.....

People underestimate DBZ i hated it and mocked it for a long time then when i actually watched a lot of it as it was all people at school spoke about it became one of my favourite shows. It was a lot more adult orientated than people think, people who have seen the uncut versions know. It is one of the greatest and most popular animes ever made for a reason.
