Campini I genuinely feel for you...I am so sorry you've had to deal with this. I know that if this happened to me, tears and broken objects would just be the beginning lol. I'm so so sorry. At least it sounds like things are shaping up with some positives.

Yeah, for one now I have two xbox's once I get my original back and I decided I will transfer my savegames using a memory card. I am presently enjoying fable II on my elite and how upset I got seems like just a distant memory (except im still ****ed about one thing, this lady on the microsoft help line phone said "dont curse at me or we'll never help you EVER!" and all i had said was "im kind of mad right now".

i heard that you get a wet cloth and put it over the fan at the back for 10 mins and it works again thats what my friend did and it worked for him

I doubt it will work again, it smelt like burnt circuitry the first time it happens. And even if it does work again I dont want it to happen again AFTER the warranty expires, plus I already bought a brand-new 360 and set up my old one to be sent in and repaired for free. So this way my wife or friends can play with me on live from my upstairs TV (both HD 1080) so this should be pretty sweet.
