Game glitching help!

Ok so i got the game working all fine and i have vista so i did the updates and things and all that stuff and i got it to work. So i am playing as the little kid and then when the raid happends and you get to ur dad and u get teleported tot he guild the loading screen comes up and then after the loading screen it quick saves and then its a black screen but i can still hear the sound of you pukeing and stuff i can still hear them talking but i just can see nothing its all black i dont know whats wrong i dont think im missing anyfiles or anything ebcuase i check but i dont know what files im suposed to be looking at :P but if some one could help me that would be awesome :]

minimize the game screen then open it back up???

it did that to me also but it the visual came back after i skiped that scene

it might be that Vista doesnt have the proper registry keys that support DirectX 9.0c which was the last update for XP...i dont know perhaps you can reinstall fable after you install the updates. so basically just remove the game and delete all its folder contents from mycomputer and reinstall...i suggest you keep the save when you uninstall

i have vista and i installed fable without any updates and it works fine. but that might be the problem i dunno. good luck.

This also happened to me when i used Vista
