Game Wars

What I mean is two games that are very similar and have the same sort of story to it. You just say which you think is better and why.

1. Halo 3 V Gears of War 2
For me - Halo 3

2. Grand Theft Auto IV V Saints Row II
For me - Saints Row 2

3. Fable II V Oblivion
For me - Fable II

4. Left 4 Dead V Resident Evil
Haven't played either of them.

If there's any more you can think of, please tell me.

halo 3
pros:many weapons, interesting story, well thought of aliens.
cons: constantly changing between enemy,

gears of war 2

pros: cool weapons, not changing inbetween different enemies,great story and plot twists
cons:strange and hard to pick up controls, few weapon selection, Carmines dieing(there so cool)

gta IV v Saints row 2

gta IV

pros big place to explore, different weapons
cons: not as fun as san adreas
saints row 2 (never tried the game)

Fable II vs Oblivian

Fable II
pros: fun, buy and decorate houses, charactr customization
cons: little protection gives alot, less ability to see charcter's face

oblivion (never played it but of my knowledge

pros: big world, good looking armor and weapons
cons: dead world , ugly people

idea: left 4 dead vs resident evil

fallout 3 vs ........

Oblivion owns fable 2 =_= we astablished this awhile back, you cannot compare oblivion which is a huge game with graphics which imo are better then fable 2 mostly due to the cartooniness of fable 2. But you cannot compare Bethesda to Lionhead because Bethesda Make better games and always will proven fact.

As the great Yahtzee said, "It looks like they took one square mile of the map in Oblivion and copy pasted it 100 times." Or something like that. And it felt like I was going in circles in Oblivion. Fable 2 FTW.

Personally, Oblivion sucks. Very repetitive and frankly, quite annoying.

Definitely agree with you there. You do one thing, and then you feel like your doing it a again. For example, when you have to go into the sewers for the main quest, and you need to go FAR in, and then for the last mission in the thieves guild you do the SAME DAMN THING, but you take a different turn and go just as far. And then it is all like OMG, you stole an elder scroll!!! And then you are just sitting there thinking, "well that was freakin' easy". Morrowind was much better, but still doesn't beat Fable II

oblivion is fable 2s bitch.

oblivion is large and fun to explore, but the combat and character interaction fails miserably.

both have their pros and cons, but i prefer fable 2.

=_= oblivion is amazing, I don't see the point to bother arguing because after all this is a fable 2 forum and i'll just end up getting 20 different people giving crap reasons as to why fable 2 is better. The one thing i will say, Fable 2 was a let down compared to fable. Oblivion is amazing, it's not as good as morrowind granted, but it's not as bad as a comparison as fable and fable 2.

they are both good games, but nothing is perfect. i dont think oblivion and fable 2 compare well at all. really it should be oblivion vs fallout 3.

Halo 3 V Gears of War 2

For me - Gears 2 as Co-op play is more fun, Horde is a good laugh and also 5 player so more involving, the play style has more variation & there are more game modes also the GFX are amazing.

Grand Theft Auto IV V Saints Row II

For me - GTA IV as its a technical marvel, how they got such an engine running so smoothly and seemlessly i shall never know. I really enjoyed the story and actually completed the game (first GTA ive been bothered to do so).

Fable II V Oblivion

For me - Oblivion as the world is huge, the radiant AI means theres an aura of unpredictability about the game, theres MUCH MUCH more to do in the game. Played it for about 80 hours before a patch screwed mine up and i never played it again. However i could easily have gotten another 200 hours out of that game. Played Fable II for about 13 hours and have yet to touch it again since.

Left 4 Dead V Resident Evil

For me - Left 4 Dead as ive never been a resident evil fan and they just seem to recycle the formula over and over. Left 4 Dead was a breath of fresh air in the market and is radically different from anything ive seen before and is one of the best multiplayer games ive played.

Wow. That's the most detailed one yet.
I finished Saints Row and I was thinking about buying GTA4, is it worth it? Some people say it's boring and others say it's amazing.

I was being brief if im honest, as there are much more things i could add to those.

Its well worth it id say and good fun to play. I was going to purchase the new DLC the other day but im 300 MS points short so i will wait until i can pick up some more.
