Anyway, if it weren't for the awesome puzzles and adult vocabulary my dad wouldn't even have let me play. (Final Fantasy of course!)

another is: They can Help you Understand Classic Literature. true as well games like Warcraft, Fable and such will help ( Even tho WoW messed with the lore ><)

I learned all my English from games so I agree they can be useful, but harmful
as well. Just take WoW for example. I saw few videos where guys
which WoW accounts got canceled freak out>>><<<like that. It was scary.

also it helps eye coordination like said and you have to think strategies and stuff, so you have to know your stuff and a lot reading like ppl said world of warcraft lore is a lot
