Glitch in your Game?

When I found Fable III in the back of my cabinet, I immediately told my friend about it, who has played it before, and he began helping me throughout the game. I instantly fell in love with the game, and I was looking foward to buying Fable and Fable II, but then I encountered a bug in Fable III. It was right after I was caught infiltrating Reeves's mansion, escaped unharmed after his Wheel of Misfortune, and signed the project. I entered the portal that allows me to get better upgrades, and, when I was done upgrading everything, I realized the portal had vanished. I tried everything to get back to the storyline: use the seals on the ground to teleport to the portal, use the map, charge into the gate despite not seeing the portal, but all of them failed miserably. I couldn't use the map, the seals on the ground teleported me to the farthest seal and didn't do anything, and nothing happened when I ran to where the portal should be. So now I'm stuck in the level up area/sanctuary with no way out and I can't continue my game. I'm at a loss on what to do and need help to get my game back on track. (By the way, I'm reporting the glitch here since the link to report it isn't working.) Does anybody have any advice other than to restart my game?

I have no idea of this would work, but have you tried saving there, and loading the save? It MIGHT reload the portal back.
 
I've been playing a lot these past few days, and I just wanted to jump off of something and now I'm stuck in a tree! Seriously! It looks so stupid!
I don't have any friends who have Fable III, so I can't try the thing with joining someone's game.
Somebody that can help?

You can try throwing the game out of the window. I mean, that will solve all your glitches and give you a 5% to hit Peter Molyneux with a 0.2% critical damage. I wish I could help you, but I can't. Good luck.

Well, DI has it right that there is absolutely NO way to save you. We've tried countless of times, but there is literally NO fix for the "stuck-in-the-tree" glitch. None of Lionhead's patches (which is only two/three at most) fixed it either. If you think that you can fix it by going to someone else's world, then you're sadly wrong. Whatever you do in your friend's world will, except for stats, levels and items, stay in your friend's world, so when you go back to your world, you're back in that tree.

I think we should re-name this glitch into "Tree of Death"
 
well, although i have encountered maybe hundreds of glitches in the game, there is one that i am eagerly waiting to be fixed.
I have a weapon, it is called Jack's Hammer, when i upgraded it where it says it gets 20 extra power, the attack power stays the same after upgrading, it says i already have the upgrade but the number just did not trigger to change. and one of the weapon upgrade suppose to give a dark aura overt the weapon, it did not trigger that either. it still look like same before i got the upgrade.
I know it is no use because it's been so long they dont really care anymore, and this game is unfinished from the first place I guess, this game is ruined by these bugs.
 
I broke the door to the babers shop on the mission in wolfs clothing and I can't fix it...help?

Molyneux said nothing about being able to fix doors, did he?
 
so im in the sunset house and im doing the quest where you play a game of chess with Chesty. by the third move the knight was stuck. i tried to move it but the only thing i could move with the circle and nothing else. the knight was glowing and everything but still nothing. so i restarted my game and turned off my console. when i turned it back on and loaded my saved game, it was a purple screen with clouds on it!! i can hear birds chirping, and when i hold down the button to cast spells you can hear the spells charging up, and the screen turns white. then when you release it slowly turns purple and cloudy again.
how do i fix this??? its looking like ill have to restart!!
 
I'm in the understone quest and I'm stuck near the elevator- please, please tell me there is something I can do?

I have the same problem and im pretty sure that there may be a bug fix update on it.
 
Hello,
My Heroes, one after the other, got stuck in the time glitch, the glitch when time in the game freezes. I made new Heroes and I work to make them better but I am still afraid of the time glitch. Does anyone have an idea to why does that glitch happend to my previous Heroes (my new Heroes are alright for now), and how do I avoid this glitch from happening again?

Same thing happend to me... And the worst thing, it happend to my main Hero! I see the fighting and questing side of the game as the biggest and is very importent to me. In the Wiki it said that it might happen after fast-travelling after in Traitors Keep questline and it can be fixed after completing it, but I didn't downloaded Traitors Keep at all. I hope I will find or get an answer to this...
 
Old thread is old. There exist tools that can be used to fix your borked game saves. Even the stuck in a tree, rock, floor, wall glitch. However, the source of these tools and knowledge on using them has become a dangerous place. In a recent discussion I had with a former staff member there, he tearfully told me that he had gone back to try to save it but the spam was created faster than he could get rid of it, and a year's worth of bots running around unchecked has left the site in a state of absolute ruin, decrepit.
 
MAJOR GLITCH. Tried to join another players world.. Showed up without clothes or weapons.. Thats fine. However I return to MY world, still nothing. Upon further inspection my entire sanctuary is wiped out!!!! No weapons no clothes no trophies and no chests open on the road to rule!!! Bumming pretty hard right now afraid I wont be playing this game anymore....
 
I'm having an issue with my Fable 3 game i just experienced today. I'm taking a lot of time into searching for all of the gnomes in the game. My counter says I have 9 gnomes remaining to find.

However, upon searching Bowerstone Industrial, my counter says i have 2/5 gnomes in that area.
I was following a Youtube video from Roosterteeth on where to find these gnomes and have had no trouble until I got to Industrial as i said. I was unsure which 2 gnomes I had gotten and followed the video tutorial and just went to each location it said to make sure i get the ones I am missing.

This is where the problem comes in, I followed the video to show the locations for 3 gnomes. Again my counter says I have 2 out of 5. Upon searching the area for the first 3 gnomes that the video showed, None of them were in their designated areas. I precisely followed the video to each location and have even tried restarting. I know i do not have one gnome that it said I had.

Can someone explain this to me? Is it a known glitch? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please and thanks.
If i need to explain anything else, just ask.
 
Ok so I have a strange issue at the fight for the throne I ported back to sanctuary and got a strange glitch bug or whatever most of my spell combo's disappeared have all six and can't combine blades with anything but fireball right now,and the others only have two combo's they won't combine with the rest of the spells for some reason. Help?
 
Hello I have a glitch in the game thats driving me nuts I'm in brightwall trying to get the Merc beard , tattoo and I buy them go to put them on And I cant seem to put the tattoo on at all its not even showing up on the statue but I can put on the beard No matter what button I push The Statue doesn't have the Merc Tattoo for the Wolf in sheeps clothing quest Btw Im playing on the PC
 
I downloaded the Traitor's Keep DLC and i started the quest. I'm still going through the "Pit" and I was fighting the (i think) 3rd group of prisoners after jumping down and helping his guards. I need to keep going, but the game wont let me walk through a door to get to Hobson and the main quest guy.. It says to defeat the prisoners, but I already have. What do i do?? I really want to keep going and not restart because ive completed the game, acquired massive amounts of money, and I can't fast travel anywhere due to a quest.
