God Bless America is a movie, a ****ing awesome movie at that..

You should deffinetly watch it. Its clever, funny (In a different way) and quite bloody. Hah

Its a great idea, and feel exactly like the guy in the movie, but a bit different haha.

Have a watch!

You know I wanted to see it, but - and I never thought I'd say it - I think it's a bit over the top.

Well yeah.. Its not a serious movie, its kind of meant to be over the top I think.. Just blatantly throws it at your face about what this guy goes through and what he does about it..

Not everyone will like it, I can tell. But its different.

Wow, a film that plays out my daily thoughts. Count me in.

I'm sorry, but after having covered the Breivik trial with a lot of interest on a day-to-day basis, I don't really see the appeal of a movie glorying the idea of you being allowed to kill someone because they somehow offend your or don't share you values.

Even if it has a delicious piece of white jailbait ass.

So. Yeah.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean, the mans being Hippocratic really..

But for it was a nice release and to watch someone really deal with it head on, even in the most horrific way, Haha.

And yes, I even googled the girl in the movie just to see if I was a pedophile or not, she's actually 19 in RL, yay!

In the movie he executed that schoolgirl at point blank range. I don't care how much of a brat she was, that killed the movie for me. I don't much enjoy seeing children killed, it turns my stomach even if it is "dark comedy".

They're not glorying the idea of being allowed to kill, but more of the idea that two people have completely lost their minds (literally, the guy has a tumor in his head and is being driven by an immature child that doesn't know better) and become serial killers over something others can relate to. He's of course being a dumb hypocrite, but with that big ass tumor in his brain I doubt he realizes or cares.

I'm sure the film will probably have some sort of clever message in the end for how nonsensical it all is.

Most likely, but I'm still with Tsuyu on this one. It just doesn't feel right no matter what reasons it might have in the film. Unless it's all a dream, in which case it's even worse.

I understand, but I look at it how I look at video games. It's not real, we kill people and blow up things in video games (a la GTA) for our own reasons -- stupid or not, and yet we still enjoy said games, but we wouldn't do any of that mess nor condone it in real life.

I guess it depends on an individual's tolerance, to each their own.

Kill?

We're talking straight out executions here. And regardless, it is never the main feature in the sense killing brown people is in Modern Warfare, or Nazis in Medal of Honour.

Wait... what were we talking about here again? I dunno, but now I feel like a dirty morality police....

People can use their imaginations and carry out a series of "executions" of "annoying brats" if they so choose. Of course it wouldn't be, otherwise it wouldn't sell now would it? It is presented in those games like the killing of innocent pedestrians are presented in GTA games, it's there if you ever want to do it, but you don't have to (.. although accidents do happen..).

Point being: It isn't real, so I personally don't care. If it were real, I would very much care.
