God has spoken...
And he has declared that I will have a PS3, Demon's Souls, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots AND the Limited Edition of Fable III!
I'm excited. Like, beyond excited. I went in thinking I wasn't going to even have enough to get the LE of Fable III but I was wrong, way wrong.
I had something like $349 after I traded everything in AND I had another card with about $17 on it. I was actually thinking of getting Lost Planet 2 or Dante's Inferno but I knew Demon's Souls was a game I could NOT pass up.
I just picked Metal Gear Solid 4 because I've played all the others and I've been dying to see how this turns out.
Now, I had originally put $30 towards the LE of Fable III because I didn't think I'd have too much to buy games with but it turns out using my card and getting pre-owned copies of the game would leave me with about $39 so I put all that towards Fable III.
Of course, that still wasn't enough BUT I did have about $12.30 in my pocket (all in change) which I had planned to use to buy some Chinese food but I said "No amount of Chinese food can compare to getting this game".
So, I put it all on the pre-order and I even had $1.16 left over.
I've never been lucky enough to have this happen but I've got to be the happiest person in the world right now.
Sure, I had to sell my PS2, all my PS2 games, my Wii, all my Wii stuff, a couple of 360 games and all my PSP junk but I got it. I finally got a PS3 with two games and I managed to pre-order and pay off the entire amount for Fable III.
Sorry for all this. I've let my excitement get the better of me.
