Since Estonian military forces are in need of my services, I must comply and learn how to fu** sh** up.

I'll be leaving on Monday and won't be coming back until Christmas... theoretically.
The place also has no (decent) computers and most likely no time as well to hang around the net.
Luckily I have to go for 8 months and not 11.
At least I get to wear neat parade uniforms.
So yeah...

Screw anyone who actually thought or hoped I was leaving for good.
 
Well, it's good to know you'll be back. Just as a side note, you make it sound somewhat like you were drafted. Were you?

In any case, we'll miss you. Pop back in to say hello if you ever get a chance.
 
Yes, it's obligatory service. Depending on when you go it's wither 8 or 11 months. The bad thing is I'm going to be bossed around by guys who went in July (one of them my former classmate).

Honestly, everytime I see the guy's name I think "steroids" making me want to call him Roidy.

Also where the hell is estonia? I thought it was a fictional country in the Ace Combat series.

Wha? I'm pretty sure it's gonna be a sausage fest for 95% of the time so we'll not have much to pick from.

Also I'm not sure we get to keep the clothes they give us.
 
No I wasn't talking about the uniforms, especially the parade ones. Just the small stuff like t-shirts.
And yes, I'm going to spend some time preparing for the parade, seeing as I'm going to the battalion specifically meant for parades and guarding the president. Though it'll be a relatively small part of it all.

The main emphasis is still on infantry training.

Edit: your luck, Hermit. I just got word I do, indeed, get to keep the three T-shirts. Do you want them washed before mailing?

That's actually a great name. I was always stuck when refering to Roty before because I was try think of a cool abbreviation, I mean I'm know as Hobbe or Hobbes or HB, you're Giki, there's Steve, Queen, Scarecrow, Necro, DD etc but what was Roty meant to be? TRA? Just 'Rotid'? Roty is certainly a step forward.

Anyway, have fun, or as much fun as you can anyway ;)
 
It's all good, except unlike the other names, Roty makes no sense.
