GTA IV DLC

Apparently some GTA IV DLC is coming in February 2009. Here is what it said:

Rockstar sent word to let us know that the Grand Theft Auto IV Xbox 360 Exclusive DLC is coming in February 2009.

The DLC will be titled The Lost and The Damned and will include new missions, multiplayer modes, weapons and vehicles and a new "diverse soundtrack". Hopefully DJ Green Lantern gets another round.

Sam Houser, Grand Poobah of Rockstar said,

Making these episodes has enabled us to expand the narrative and the experience of interacting with a game world in really innovative ways. We hope fans of the game enjoy the new way of experiencing life in Liberty City contained in this first episode.​

We're looking forward to seeing what this DLC has to offer, though this news is a blow for punters who picked the game up on the PlayStation 3. Meanwhile the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV is coming out on December 3 and we've got some new trailers in our library to scope out.

Looks like GTA IV is gonna look that much better, huh? ^_^

Heard about this the other day, shame it wasnt released this year. Also you control someone other than Niko in this.

I bought GTA4 thinking it was going to be as good or better than san andreas, but sadly, i felt it did not. i have completed san andreas a cuple of times, but GTA4... i got into it a little, but lost interest. haven't played it in months, and have not even finished it once. i only have 55 ach points. it's hard to play it when i have a couple of kids too. the content isn't exactly child friendly. atm, i'm still having too much fun on fable 2 anyway. maybe by the time this DLC comes out, i might be ready to get back into GTA4

Hm, What has me more intrigued is that he says "first episode".. I wonder how many they have planned.

I got bored of GTA after GTA III but really enjoyed GTA IV and its the only GTA ive ever bothered to finish as the story was quite interesting.

Maybe some Half Life 2 styled episodic content is on the way (hopefully not taking as long). :lol:

It will be cool to play someone other than Niko. I wonder if they guy you play is Russi... I forgot, he's "Eastern European". Forgot exactly what it was. Started with a B.

And GTA III and up are some of the greatest games ever made. San Andreas was one of the greates games I have ever played. And the mods were cool too, but my computer is suckage at it's finest.

But to stay on topic, I hope it is free. Probably not, but I can't buy MS Points over the Xbox, I'd have to go out and buy them. Oh well, I still have to pick up the old CoD 4 map pack, and I know there are goint to be maps for CoD: WaW, so I got to save up another 800.
