Guild Wars 2 Beta on way

The President and Founder of developer ArenaNet Mike O'Brien announced today that a Guild Wars 2 Beta will be on the way to select press representatives in February. They will then ramp up the size of the Beta tests towards people outside the press in March and April. He also goes on to confirm that Guild Wars 2 will be released in 2012 (had not been officially confirmed until now). ​

The original Guild Wars remains the only MMO that ive played as it was free to play and id be really interested in the new one if I had a PC to run it these days. I have a lot of respect for ArenaNet and them managing to craft a large, stable and well populated MMO without the need for monthly fees. ​
