Guild Wars goes pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

For the month of October, ArenaNet will be offering a limited edition Pink Dye to its players to help support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The dye cannot be sold or traded and is available only from a special vendor in Lions Arch. This vendor will disappear at the end of the month.​

And yes, that's my character.​

ArenaNet is happy to support Gaming World Entertainment Network, Malibu Barbie, and the Gamers Giving Back team, who are hosting Pink Day in LA to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society and breast cancer research! They've got lots of prizes and fun activities planned, and we've pitched in by adding a special pink dye vendor to Lion's Arch so everyone can get in the spirit!

Pink Day in LA takes place on October 16 from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM Mountain Standard Time (GMT -6) in the Lion's Arch International Districts. For more information on Pink Day in LA, check the event page and the official Pink Day in LA website.

The problem is that the dye seems to be a very rushed addition to the game. If you try to dye anything other than armor it ends up being more red than pink.
