I don't see why everyone hates the gun idea? Fable 2 is set 500 years after the original (in a colonial theme), so i'd expect there to be new advances in weapons, etc.

Loading a gun from that era was a slow process, maybe two shots a minute. Shots will probably end up being like a special attack, or be like the crossbow, slow and powerful.

I'm thinking the guns should feel like those in Eternal Darkness on the Gamecube. They never felt like they could replace melee weapons, except in the later chapters obviously.

can i say whats the point of arguing when the games hasnt been played before and plus if there is guns shorely there is other weopens like on fable and fable lost chapters there is a wide range...do you agree???

I completely agree that passing judgement on an untested and unconfirmed idea is stupid. Im sure there will be weapons to cater for all playing styles.

I say another type of weapon they should have are braces and grieves. Hand-to-hand combat is on of my favorite forms of fighting and feeling the power that are your own two hands and feet would be a great addition to the game.

Personally the only way they could ruin this game for me is if they made it futuristic and removed any kind of magic and/or fantasy elements. I love Fable way too much and so I dont really care if they shove guns in there or not as long it isnt rocket launchers or machine guns I dont care. The blunderbuss looking weapon I think could be interesting.... it will add a new element to the technique you use to play the game...

Well I am sure they remove anything of mystical property since it IS what Fable is. The name for instance, Fable, is of a Fairy Tale which only occur in fantasy times of magic and demons.

is there going to be a legendary gun? if so then that might be cool...i don't know. it will be fun to have guns in the game instead of just swords and bows even though i like killing people with huge swords.
