Like the title says I had to design a brochure for my PR Writing class.
The way it's structured We picked a company on the first assignment (I chose Marlboro) and we've had to turn in a PR piece of work related to that same company for the entire term. We're towards the end now and one of our final assignments was to make a brochure. Of course, the professor expected everyone to *click click done* in Microsoft Publisher, but I only have a student edition of Office and thus no Publisher. My solution: Photoshop. I spent a good 3-4 hours trying to get this thing right and here's what I'll be handing in on Friday.

Keep in mind that it's a trifold so the way the panels are laid out is not the order that you would read them on the final printed copy. All facts are made up, all pictures are borrowed from Google Images and Flickr.

Sorry in advance about the file size. I tried to make it nice so these are printer paper sized and high resolution. The total brochure is about 17MB

The "Outside" -
The two panels on the sides would fold away from you (right panel on top).

The "Inside" - When unfolding the brochure this side would look as is.

I like all of it man, the whole design flows. One thing that does bug me for some reason is on the inside the middle panel's picture does not seem to fit with the rest. Overall thought it looks cracking, good colour scheme and i love the background textures.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm feeling very proud of it, which I admit grudgingly.

I see what you mean about the middle panel photo. I tried switching a few things up, do you think any of these look better?
Of course we're talking minor aesthetics, but I put so much time into this I've gone into perfectionist mode.

First I tried just moving it to the top.

Then I remembered that one grade requirement was that it couldn't look too much like it came off of a template. 3 panels in a row with the picture on top and text on bottom seemed like something I should try avoiding.
Moved photo in panel 3 to bottom with panel 2 on top.

Finally I thought I'd try just sizing it down in the original spot.

I hate the fact that I'm openly nitpicking here, but what do you think? Personally I'm leaning towards curtain #2

Really liking what you have there Cheez, if you ask me I say test #2 works best in this case as it remains consistent from panel to panel and doesn't have that odd sense of feeling I get from 1 & 3. Has a proper professional look to it as well which is a plus.
