$130 for a game is way too much...I could never justify that kind of expenditure on something like that.

But the die-hards will probably gobble it up...

Will probably work out cheaper here for once and be about £50-£55 i would hope

It's still a lot of money - I guess if one doesn't have too much else to pay out for then that kind of money is easily spent...gosh darn my grown up responsibilities! :lol:

The Legendary Edition may seem like an expensive purchase, but the whole point is that it's for serious collectors... anyone who finds it too expensive is obvously not the target market for that particular version anyway...

I think hardcore collectors (at whom the Legendary Edition is squarely aimed) will be pleased with the end result... It reeks of quality and attention to detail (as it should at that price) and for fans, it’s probably worth every penny.
Of course, nobody’s forcing this price on you, and you can always buy the regular or Limited Edition and forego the thrill of your very own Spartan helmet.

The Legendary Edition may seem like an expensive purchase, but the whole point is that it's for serious collectors... anyone who finds it too expensive is obvously not the target market for that particular version anyway...

Yeah thats quite a good point, its not being aimed at just Halo fans but Hardcore collectors mainly i dont think even big Halo fans would want to pay $130 for extras but collectors would.

How much would you be asking for it...?

Yeah some of the extras look pretty cool id like to see the making of DVD's and such and early concept art as id like to see what enemies didnt make the game or what enemies were modified from original designs.

Yeah i am aswel to be honest, i think its great to see early concept stuff and how it shaped up to be what we see as the final product and where ideas came from and such.

Yeah just like what happened with me with halo 2, I'll buy it when the price has gone down to $20...xD So I'll get the legendary edition when it costs $20 =P

I'll be too busy with GoW and Fable 2 to really care about halo....=D

Somehow I don't think the legendary edition will be available for long nor will it drop down in price. Mind you, the people over at Ebay will probably snap some up and sell them on at a different price - unfortunately it's bound to be higher though...

Yeah thats true as they stated only a certain amount will be made and they will be like Gold Dust then and like Sharon said the price might even INCREASE with few remainders.
