Halo: Reach dissapointed me.

The Elite customization is even worse than in Halo 3. :(

Re: Halo: Reach dissapointed me.

^ for most gametypes (save invasion, covie slayer, and spartans vs elites) the elites are rarely used. 2/3rds of Halo 3 players played spartans and i think bungie realized that. furthermore, they were dead set on "restoring" the integrity of the covenant armada. they wanted elites to feel formidable again, and seeing the next Xbox LIVE stoner in pink elite armor with a penis emblem wasn't going to help it.

while i do see your point, i usually use spartan... but i am slightly disappointed as well in that department. :(

Re: Halo: Reach dissapointed me.

They should've just left out Elites as playable characters then. Instead of this half-arsed bull****.

Re: Halo: Reach dissapointed me.

I like being an Elite... :(

But I am very much liking the armour that they DO have, nonetheless. Just a shame I can't be an Elite the whole time.

Re: Halo: Reach dissapointed me.

I haven't yet had a chance to sample the Elite customization options, but Halo: Reach has so far disappointed me in so many ways; visuals, campaign linearity, character customization, character depth (with the exception of Jorge who is the only character in the whole universe - aside from Buck - who I actually like).

Don't get me wrong, Halo: Reach has some great things going for it - I can't wait to get some co-op games in, I believe that's when it will really shine. But, for now, Halo: Reach isn't encouraging me to properly return to console gaming. PC powah!

Re: Halo: Reach dissapointed me.

I liked it the first day.. I'm playing Gears and MW2 again now because I'm not finding the matchmaking addictive and the story isn't gripping.

Sorry guiz.

I'll end up finishing the story but the online is kinda boring.

Re: Halo: Reach dissapointed me.

Yeah I was pretty dissapointed with its Campaign, Really short and not very "into it" if thats the right words.

Yeah I was a little dissapointed with the Elites armour, I dont see why they couldnt do it like they did with the Spartans, Fully customize it?

But I still play as Elite, Just because Elites are waaaaay cooler!

Re: Halo: Reach dissapointed me.

I have to agree. Campaign was short, in a way I liked it, but then again. Meh.

Elite customizations don't bother me much though. They sucked in halo 3 as well.

I r sorreh. :'(

I was waiting to play co-op with some other friends.

Anyway, I just gave up on the Elites. Turns out that unlike Halo 3 you can't even bring them into Team Deathmatch or such games. Because where in Halo 3 you had the choice of going Spartan or Elite, Halo:Reach forces most game types to be Spartan vs. Spartan. :getlost:
