I don't get the game...
They loose contact to something or someone called Noble 1, Spartans report that they are on the ground. Were the spartans traveling in the Noble vessel, if it is a vessel at all?
Or did the CP loose contact to a ship called Nobl......

Read the book... It will all make sense, basically Reach was the UNSC's biggest stronghold and was the SPARTAN training center, a few days before Halo Combat Evolved it got attacked (Which is why Captain Keyes fled with his 3 remaining SPARTANS) and that is the setup, it is on Reach during that attack.

Yeah I agree Fall of Reach was pretty badass. Can't wait for more info on this game. I hope it is not a run and gun kind of game like the other halos.
